Philips 58pus8506 TV Constant Battery Warnings and Quality Worries

I purchased a Philips 58pus8506 TV, and the remote soon began to give me a "change alkaline batteries" warning. I assumed it had been dropped and damaged because I have a small child at home. The remote was not replaced under warranty, so I bought an aftermarket one that worked perfectly for about two years. When that replacement remote broke due to my own carelessness, I decided to spend 350 TL on an original from Bornova Ph Elektronik. They even installed original Philips batteries. However, despite minimal use, I received a low battery warning that evening. I checked the Complaints Board website to see if others had experienced similar problems, and it turns out that many people are having issues with these remotes. I don't think it's a service issue; Philips appears to have overlooked this quality concern. I've had no problems with the many Philips products I've purchased in the past. I'll return the remote to the authorized service center tomorrow (hoping for a smooth return process). I believe Philips should provide free, dependable replacement remotes to all affected customers—a more appropriate response from the brand.the brand.
