Timing Fault in My Peugeot 2008 Model Vehicle
I am the owner of a 2020 Peugeot 2008 with only 29,000 km on the odometer. While driving on the highway, the engine pressure warning light suddenly came on and I nearly had an accident. I took my vehicle to an authorized service center and was informed that the timing belt had broken. It has been nearly two months since my car has been in your possession awaiting parts from France, and I do not want the engine opened up for repair. I cannot trust this vehicle to safely transport my child anymore. I demand that the car be replaced or have a new engine installed. I am sending this message to both you and Peugeot France and will share my experience across all platforms. Nobody seems to care about my situation. I can no longer sell this vehicle, and I urgently request a solution from Peugeot Turkey. Please explain to me how a timing belt can break on a 0 km vehicle, and address this chronic issue that affects Peugeot cars worldwide.
