Peugeot 3008 Shows Repeated Electric Drive System Failure After Repair

I was involved in a minor traffic accident affecting the front left wheel of my 2024 Peugeot 3008 GT, and my vehicle remained at the authorized service center for approximately 45 days for repairs. After I picked up my car from the service center, I drove home and later that evening set out again to go to work. The distance between my home and the service center is about 5 km, and after driving approximately another 30 km, while driving, a warning suddenly appeared on the screen stating “electric drive system fault,” and the vehicle stopped and left me stranded on the road. When I contacted roadside assistance, I was told that the vehicle would reset itself after being turned off for 5 minutes. After shutting it off and restarting, the car temporarily returned to normal, but the same fault reappeared roughly every 30 km. This happened 6–7 times on the same day. The next day, I took the vehicle back to the same authorized service center. They disconnected and reconnected the battery terminal and told me the problem was resolved, but it was not; the fault continued in the same way and at the same mileage intervals. When I left the vehicle at the service again, I was told that the system computer did not record any fault, yet the problem continues exactly the same and no permanent solution has been provided. Despite this, they are trying to return the vehicle to me in this condition. This situation has caused serious inconvenience and poses a significant risk to my driving safety, while also endangering the safe flow of traffic for other vehicles. Attempting to return the vehicle without resolving such a serious issue is unacceptable. For this reason, I demand that the electric drive system fault in my vehicle be handled with full seriousness, escalated to the highest level of attention, and permanently resolved. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will pursue all my legal rights to the fullest extent.

The service did not provide a solution and there is a 2024 model 3008 vehicle with an ongoing warranty at the Peugeot headquarters, and there is a customer who is suffering. The brand will soon start a foreign and irrelevant legal process for its customer.

The service vehicle inspected the electric drive system, identified the cause of the failure, and discovered that it was a counterfeit safety belt; now I am no longer experiencing any problems.
