Why is Contacting Pegasus Airlines Customer Service a Paid Service?
I recently realized that speaking with a Pegasus Airlines customer service representative incurs a cost, which I don't understand. They claim to have a free line, yet the operator fails to connect the call. This is bizarre in today's world. I've only had this problem with Pegasus. My major issue began when I accidentally ordered a ticket for August 8, 2024 rather than July 7, 2024 (I booked on May 17, 2024). When I tried to modify the date on May 19, 2024, I was unable to contact customer care. They also requested a processing fee for changing the ticket date from August to July several months in advance. Is Pegasus not subject to trade and consumer protection regulations? Why am I paying more to change a service that I have not yet used? Also, when you report an issue, they direct you to the original booking site (I purchased my ticket through Ucuza Bilet), evading responsibility.
