Pegasus Warsaw-Izmir Flight PC1540 Delayed & Left Without Passengers

On March 8, 2025, I was booked on Pegasus Flight PC1540 from Warsaw to Izmir, scheduled to depart at 14:45. Due to operational reasons, the departure time was changed multiple times, eventually settling at 17:00, with check-in closing at 15:35.
At 15:00, I went to the counter to get my boarding pass, only to find that Pegasus was nowhere to be seen—no counters, no screens, nothing. When I called Pegasus customer service, they told me to speak with airport staff. But when I reached out to the information desk, they shockingly claimed the flight had already departed at 14:45. Even after I explained that Pegasus had sent updated flight details, they told me they had no information and that I should contact the airline directly. Later, I found out the check-in counter had been closed at 14:45, and the flight eventually left at 17:25, leaving me and at least 15 other passengers stranded.
We waited until 18:00, making countless phone calls, but no solution was offered. As a student, I had planned this trip a month in advance, but I was forced to spend an extra night, paying ₺1,800 for a hotel and ₺7,000 for a new ticket the next day—an exhausting 11-hour connecting flight instead of the usual 2-hour direct route. Not to mention the additional expenses for transportation, food, and other necessities.
