Pegasus Airlines' Payment Debacle: A Two-Week Runaround
On July 26, 2014, at 2:54 PM, Pegasus Airlines charged my account 1650 TL for a flight from Istanbul, but the ticketing process failed due to a systemic error. They apologized, promised a refund for the unsuccessful transaction within 48 hours, and sent me an email confirming this. However, despite the email assurance, nearly two weeks have passed, and I haven't received the refund. My attempts to reach their representatives have been futile. I've even resorted to legal avenues for resolution. They insist that my information is incorrect, rejecting the proof I provide, including transaction details and receipts. They claim the error lies with me. If you suspect that your account hasn't been refunded, you must provide your credit card's first 6 and last 4 digits, the transaction number starting with "pgs" from your account statement, the transaction date, receipt, and the name of the bank associated with your credit card. Only then can your bank investigate the matter. The frustration of this two-week ordeal is beyond words.
