Missed Pegasus Airlines Brussels Flight Due to Miscommunication at Sabiha Gökçen Airport
On December 23, I had a connecting flight from Çukurova to Brussels via Sabiha Gökçen, scheduled for 11:55 AM. I arrived at the gate half an hour early and asked the staff if boarding had started. I was told it had not, so I sat down to wait.
Fifteen minutes later, I asked again, only to be informed that boarding was complete and the gate had closed. Despite explaining that I had asked earlier and was told to wait, they refused to let me board the flight.
It seems the airline overbooked or sold additional tickets, leaving me stranded. I had to purchase a new ticket out of pocket, and the airline provided no assistance whatsoever. Missing an international flight because of their negligence is unacceptable. I demand accountability and a refund for the additional ticket I was forced to purchase. This is not how a professional airline should treat its passengers.
Pegasus continues to be ridiculous. For days, they've been sending me emails saying the review is ongoing. They also keep sending an email asking for all the information. I reply, and then they send the same email again. It's clear that I'm emailing with a robot. No one is really interested. It's complete nonsense!
