Denied Boarding for Pegasus Flight Despite Arriving on Time – Refund Not Processed
I booked a Pegasus Airlines flight (code UWYQYY) from Dalaman to Ganja, Azerbaijan, scheduled for November 6, 2024, at 10:20 AM for two passengers. Despite arriving at the airport by 9:00 AM, I was denied boarding because they claimed check-in was already closed. I was told I needed to arrive three hours before the flight, which is unreasonable and unlike any experience I’ve had at Dalaman Airport before.
I requested a flight cancellation and a refund, and customer service assured me the refund would be processed by the end of the day. However, that promise turned out to be false. Pegasus must take responsibility for this situation, process my refund immediately, and improve their communication regarding check-in policies.
