Canceled FLlight | Lost Luggage | Pegasus Airlines Stupidity At Its Peak
25-26 August 2023. Case: flight cancellation, delaying of the canceled flight even further, false baggage tagging, lost luggage. Flight: from Dalaman airport - Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport - to Tbilisi airport. Departure: Dalaman Airport,25 August 2023, 10:00 a.m. Departure flight number: PC2285. Arrival: Sabiha Gokcen airport, 25 August, 11:10. Next flight (Istanbul - Tbilisi) had been scheduled: 25 August, 13:50 (to Tbilisi). At the Dalaman Airport, the check-in counter's Pegasus employee told me that we could only receive the Dalaman Airport - Istanbul S.G. Airport boarding passes but not the boarding passes for the Istanbul - Tbilisi flight. I asked him to explain but he gave stupid and illogical responses. I looked up my flight details on the Pegasus app, which indicated that the Istanbul-Tbilisi flight had been canceled. I showed it to him. But he said no, that wasn't the correct info that we would have to check in again at the Istanbul S.G. airport and that our luggage would be transported to our final destination Tbilisi. We dropped off our luggage and went to the gate. When we reached Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen airport, we saw that the flight had been canceled (without any prior notice, any information, any apologies, anything). Basically, Pegasus had not informed any passenger of any flight cancellation. I asked at the Pegasus Info Center at Istanbul S.G. airport: "Where are our luggage and will they be transported to Tbilisi?" He said, "Yes, yes, they will be delivered to your final destination airport.". A blunt lie. We (there were also other "Pegasus victims") were given new flight tickets (00:10, 26 August departure to Tbilisi), and we were then taken to a hotel to remain there till the next flight. Pegasus arranged (for 21:00, on 26 August) a bus service to pick up the "Pegasus stupidity victims" from the hotel and drive them to the airport. The bus did not arrive. Tbilisi flight was delayed for 3 times at the airport. At the Tbilisi airport, we didn't receive our luggage, as they were lost at Istanbul S.G. airport.
