Pdfe.com Unauthorized Auto-Renewal Charge After Short-Term Access Purchase

I am filing a complaint about Pdfe.com, whose system and terms of use I find very user-unfriendly and misleading. On 21 November, I purchased a short-term access to Pdfe.com as a one-time use and I agreed to pay for this limited period only. However, on 28.11.2025, money was automatically withdrawn from my credit card for a monthly subscription renewal that I did not knowingly request or approve as a recurring service. The automatic renewal after a short-term payment feels like a trap for consumers, especially because there was no clear and prominent information that I had to cancel anything in order to avoid further charges. I only wanted short-term use, not a continuous subscription, and I was not properly informed that it would turn into an automatically renewed service. According to the current Terms of Use, I am not entitled to withdraw from the contract, cancel the subscription for the past period, or obtain a refund, which leaves me in a situation where my money is taken without a fair chance to prevent it. I have therefore not contacted customer service, because based on the Terms I see, they do not allow a refund in such cases. I request a full refund of the last payment charged on 28.11.2025 and the immediate cancellation of any automatic renewals on my account. In addition, I expect Pdfe.com to clearly inform users before purchase that a supposedly short-term access will convert into an automatically renewed subscription, and to provide a fair and accessible option for withdrawal and refund in such situations.
