My Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 256GB, which I received as a gift from the United States, continues to display warnings in some apps stating that they “may not be supported in English,” even though I selected Turkish as the device language. Because of this issue, I am unable to use the phone fully in Turkish.
I contacted Samsung Turkey customer support through a live assistance session regarding this problem. During the call, a Samsung representative remotely connected to my device and informed me that the phone was manufactured for the U.S. market. I was told that this version does not include Turkish language support and that I would have to continue using it as it is.
I am deeply disappointed by the fact that a global company of Samsung’s size appears to overlook the language needs of users living in Turkey. I believe customers should not face limitations simply because their device was produced for a different market.
I expect Samsung to take action to address the concerns of users in Turkey by developing a software update or alternative version that provides full Turkish language support for these devices. I also urge Samsung to adopt a language support policy that treats all users equally and ensures that Turkish is not ignored or excluded from future products and software updates.
