Papara Account Opened Without My Consent After Fake General Directorate Call
I received a call from the number 0232 473 70 25, where I was told that I had requested assistance and that it had been approved. They asked if my phone had NFC capability, and I said I didn’t know. They claimed to be calling from the General Directorate of Foundations and mentioned my address, phone number, and national ID number. Trusting them, I downloaded an app as instructed. A code was sent to my phone, which I entered into the app, and I logged in. The app’s name was Papara. The other party gained access to my address, national ID number, and all other personal information. As of January 4, 2025, I declare that I do not consent to any official transactions, account openings, applications, new line registrations, loan applications, money transfers, gambling or betting transactions, or any illegal activities conducted without my wet signature. I hold the relevant electronic company fully responsible for any potential transactions. If any improper actions are taken in my name, I request that the phone number used to contact me, the number used to register the app in my name, and this written statement be accepted as evidence. I am filing a complaint and demand to know what has happened and the reasoning behind it. I have also provided the phone number that received the code and the name and surname that appeared when I logged into Papara. I kindly request that the necessary actions be taken.
