Tinder Sent Me Verification Codes Without Consent
On 06.07.2025 at 22:08 and again on 07.07.2025 at 06:57, I received verification messages—first from Tinder and then from Discord—even though I have never registered on either platform. Despite having no connection to these apps, I received security SMS codes on my phone without my knowledge or consent. I have never signed up for Tinder or Discord using my phone number. I received these verification codes from services I do not use and do not even fully understand. I do not accept any liability for any issues that may arise from this situation under the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law. I reject any actions taken without my knowledge and consent. If any accounts were created or membership requests were made using my phone number, I request their immediate cancellation. I also request that this complaint be forwarded to the relevant authorities and that such messages are not sent to me again. If there have been any actions taken in my name without my approval, I do not accept them and wish to file a formal complaint against those responsible. I ask for urgent action and for this complaint to be submitted to the appropriate institutions.
