Pandora Ring Changed Color in Less Than a Year Despite the Warranty

I am writing regarding a quality and warranty issue with my Pandora Organically Shaped Two-tone Ring, which I purchased from the Pandora Galataport store on October 1, 2025.

I paid a premium price for this ring, expecting the quality and durability associated with the Pandora brand. However, in less than a year, the ring developed significant discoloration, with the finish fading and taking on a noticeable copper-like appearance.

On July 8, 2026, I returned to the Galataport store with the ring and the warranty certificate that had been provided at the time of purchase. A customer representative photographed the ring and informed me that the images would be sent to the store manager and that I would receive a phone call regarding the outcome. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up. I was later told that they had supposedly tried to contact me but had been unable to reach me.

When I visited the same store again on July 27, 2026, I was informed that the discoloration was considered user-related and therefore not covered under the warranty. I was told that I should not wash my hands with soap while wearing the ring or allow it to come into contact with hand cream, and that the condition was entirely the result of normal use.

I do not find this explanation reasonable. A ring is a piece of jewelry designed to be worn on a finger during daily life, where occasional contact with water, soap, and hand cream is unavoidable. Moreover, I wore this ring only during office hours, treated it with care, and did not subject it to harsh conditions.

Considering the premium price I paid, experiencing such severe discoloration in less than one year is unacceptable. It is equally disappointing that the warranty certificate provided with the product appears to offer no practical protection when a problem arises.

I do not accept that this issue should simply be classified as user error. I believe the product is defective due to its premature deterioration.

I respectfully request that Pandora carefully inspect my ring and provide an appropriate customer-focused solution. If possible, I ask that the ring be professionally repaired. If repair is not possible, I request that it be replaced with another product of equivalent value.

I also ask Pandora to reconsider its assessment of this case and resolve the inconvenience I have experienced in a manner that reflects the quality and customer service expected from the brand.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and a fair resolution.
