Talking Angela Charged ₺249 After My Child Made Accidental Purchase
On August 27, 2025, my 2.5-year-old child accidentally made an in-app purchase of ₺249 in the Talking Angela app by Outfit7, using my Realme 12 device. Shockingly, the purchase went through without any password, confirmation, or security check, and the amount was immediately charged to my mobile bill. The order number is GPA.3385-0273-2318-28755.
This is not the first time this has happened—previously I experienced a similar issue in the Tom app, also from the same developer. It is clear that there are serious flaws in parental control and security settings. No small child should be able to make a purchase this easily without parental approval.
I request the immediate cancellation and full refund of the ₺249 charge. Developers must also implement stronger safeguards to prevent accidental or unauthorized purchases by children. Parents should not be left financially responsible for mistakes made by toddlers when proper verification steps are missing.
