Outfit7 Took ₺99.99 Without Consent After My Child Played a Game
My 7-year-old daughter rarely plays games on my phone, but on April 30, I discovered that ₺99.99 had been charged to my account by Google Outfit7. I never signed up for any subscription or purchase, and I certainly never gave permission for this charge.
It is unacceptable that children can so easily trigger payments in a game without any proper confirmation, password, or security check. Parents should not have to fear hidden charges every time their child plays what is marketed as a safe, family-friendly game.
I demand the immediate cancellation and refund of the ₺99.99 charge. Outfit7 and Google must also explain how such a subscription or purchase could be processed without clear consent and must implement stronger parental controls to prevent children from being exploited this way.
This feels like nothing short of taking advantage of families, and I refuse to accept it. I want my money back and assurance that this will not happen again.
