Talking Tom Game Wrongful Charge for Adult Potion Purchased by Child
On 22/09/2024, my 4-year-old nephew accidentally made an in-app purchase in the Talking Tom game by Outfit7. Without my knowledge or consent, he bought an “adult potion” while playing on my phone. He is too young to even understand what he was doing, so this purchase clearly should not be valid.
I never authorized this transaction, and it is unacceptable for children to be able to make purchases so easily within a game designed for kids. Parents and guardians should have more protection against such accidental charges.
I kindly request that this purchase be canceled and the full amount refunded. I hope Outfit7 will handle this matter with understanding and also take steps to make sure young children cannot make unauthorized in-app purchases in the future.
