I booked a hotel in Egypt through Otelz.com and received confirmation with reservation numbers 5528076 and 5528074. To be sure everything was in place, I called the hotel in advance and asked if they had received my reservation—they said no.
I contacted Otelz customer service immediately, and they told me not to worry, that the reservation would appear in the hotel’s system once we arrived. But when my wife and children got to the hotel, they were told there was no reservation on file. They were left standing at the entrance with no place to stay.
I’ve been trying to resolve this for days. I’ve made multiple calls, but there’s still no proper solution. This is completely unacceptable. If the issue isn’t resolved immediately, I will escalate this publicly and legally.
