After installing the most recent update on my Oppo 5 Line smartphone, I started experiencing multiple problems. The power button no longer turns the screen off, which makes basic use of the device very inconvenient. In addition, after the previous update, the fast charging feature disappeared completely. These two issues have now been affecting me for the past three days, and they occur consistently no matter where or how I use the phone.
I tried using the power button repeatedly, but the issue persists. I have not yet contacted customer service. Although my warranty period has expired, these problems clearly began after official software updates, which points to a software-related fault rather than normal wear and tear.
For this reason, I request Oppo to resolve the issue with an urgent free software update or a repair that does not incur additional cost. Customers should not have to pay to fix problems caused directly by the manufacturer’s updates. Please provide a clear and immediate solution to restore both the screen lock function and the fast charging capability.
