Opel Sold Me a Defective Grandland Ultimate and Refused to Address the Paint Issues

On July 31, 2024, I purchased a Grandland Ultimate from the Opel Arden dealership. While buying the car, they made no mention of any issues and sold me a dual-colored vehicle. Three months later, when the paint on the roof and hood started peeling, I returned to the dealership, and they told me, "These cars are always like this." Their attitude was highly dismissive, and they made remarks like, "You won't get anything." When inspecting the roof, the service staff stood on an oil can and even stepped on the car's tire to climb up and check the roof. We also couldn’t get the transmission update done because they claimed they "didn’t have time." Later, they told the headquarters, "Our branch is too busy; let them get it done at another branch," simply to avoid the task. Both the dealership and the headquarters blamed us for the issue, calling it "bird droppings."
It was incredibly difficult to open a complaint, but two days later, Opel called us and said, "This is your fault; we can only offer a polish and wax, and we have no other proposal for you." Ms. F*** from the headquarters admitted the problem was chronic. When we asked the dealership how much they would buy the car for, they offered ₺1.5 million, even though the list price is ₺1.9 million. I have their written offer. With such a significant drop in resale value, I will take this issue to court for the lack of compensation for the loss in value. My concern was not the ₺100-150K they might offer; the car's value has dropped far more than that. However, with their attitude, I am determined to ensure no one else buys an Opel. Opel is a regret. For honest reviews, check YouTube and Google comments, as Instagram and car group comments are quickly deleted. Our comments on Instagram and Facebook were removed, and we were blocked. We suspect the dealership knowingly touched up and sold a defective vehicle. Do not buy a car from this dealership without getting the bodywork inspected externally. Their service during the sale is excellent, but afterward, it is the complete opposite.
Opel contacted me today and informed me again that they have no other offers. We cannot reach an agreement with the brand, so we will take the matter to court. I think no one should give up; everyone should individually apply to the court and CIMER. The more complaints there are, the easier it will be to get results. Even a child knows that polishing is not a solution for the peeling paint on my car. I asked on what basis the technical team prepared their report, but there was no answer. I said I want the technical team’s report in writing for evaluation, and they said they couldn't provide it. I'm curious which technical team would say polishing is the solution for cars in the same condition as mine, while others receive compensation for depreciation. If Opel Arden prepared the service report incorrectly, I will pursue this, and if there is any negligence by the dealership, Opel will also be held accountable for not investigating it.
We went to the authorized service for the polishing and waxing process offered by the Opel service, and the service said that this process would make the vehicle worse. Despite this, Opel's headquarters says you have to have the vehicle polished and waxed; otherwise, the process will not proceed. Never get involved with this brand. I asked for a proposal for depreciation without repair, and they didn't even give that, which they give to everyone. They will have to provide this, or I have found my lawyer for a lawsuit to replace the vehicle with an equivalent one. For a lawsuit that will last 4 years, I will demand not depreciation but replacement with an equivalent from you, Opel. If you have any sense, you will provide the depreciation and compensate for our loss. Disgraceful.
