Opel Hydraulic Steering Failure Put My Safety at Risk and Left Me Without Answers
During an intercity journey, as we entered a roundabout, the vehicle displayed a hydraulic steering failure warning on the screen, causing the steering wheel to unexpectedly lock and straighten, resulting in a loss of control and a near collision with roadside barriers. On January 2, 2025, the vehicle was transported to an Opel service center via tow truck. I want to ask Opel Turkey: if this malfunction had occurred during a turn or critical maneuver instead of on a straight road, how would Opel take responsibility for any resulting accidents? The possibility of this issue recurring and endangering our lives causes us daily panic. We request a clear explanation, prompt action, and the replacement of our vehicle with an equivalent to ensure our safety.
