Omio FlixBus Booking Lacked Child Seat Warning For Toddlers

I purchased FlixBus tickets via Omio for the Budapest–Vienna trip scheduled on 22.05.2026 at 09:15 for myself, my wife, and our 1.5-year-old daughter, under reservation number 3346657300, for a total amount of 44 EUR. During the booking process, there was no visible warning or information stating that FlixBus does not allow children aged 0–3 to travel without a car seat. I only learned about this rule later through my own research, and at that point realized that we would not be able to use the tickets in compliance with this requirement. When I attempted to cancel the booking through Omio, I was only offered a voucher instead of a refund to my original payment method. This has caused inconvenience and financial loss, as the lack of clear information during the purchase process directly affected our ability to use the service, and the current refund option is not a suitable solution for us. I believe Omio should clearly and visibly inform passengers about critical child safety requirements, such as mandatory car seats for young children, during the booking stage so that families can make informed decisions before payment. Since the tickets cannot realistically be used under these circumstances, I kindly request a full refund of 44 EUR to my original payment method instead of a voucher for reservation number 3346657300. I respectfully request that this situation be reviewed and that a fair and customer-oriented solution be provided.
