I started playing on the Thuban server of OGame and fell in love with the game. I dedicated weeks of effort day and night to progress. However, a much stronger player attacked and wiped out my entire fleet. In one day, they sent three attacks and seven espionage probes to my single planet. According to the rules, only six attacks can be made within 24 hours, yet this player, despite my reports, attacked again a week later, sending twelve probes within 24 hours instead of the allowed six. Frustrated, I reacted strongly, resulting in a ban on my account until 2038 due to remarks directed at family members made that same night. When I tried to appeal the ban, I realized that my previous report had still not been reviewed. Yet, I was unfairly banned on the same day. If you're not going to enforce the rules properly, then don't make rules at all, and let everyone fend for themselves. All the time I invested in this game has gone to waste.
