Nissa Rent A Car Fails to Refund Deposit After Vehicle Return
On the morning of September 19, at around 9:30 AM, I rented a Citroën C-Elysée passenger car from Nissa Rent A Car in Göreme. I paid the rental fee and a $92 USD deposit using my credit card. After the vehicle was delivered, I was informed that the deposit would be refunded to my card within 21 days. Even though I returned the vehicle to the same Göreme office on September 25, and approximately one and a half months have passed, the deposit has still not been refunded.
During this period, I contacted both my bank and the company’s WhatsApp support line many times. Each time, I was delayed with different explanations, and most recently I was told that the accounting department would contact me, but no solution was provided. I made significant efforts to receive my refund but did not get any positive response. Eventually, I had to initiate a dispute and refund request through my bank.
This is the first time I have experienced such an issue, and receiving such inadequate service from Nissa Rent A Car, which I considered to be a professional company, has been very disappointing. I request that my $92 USD deposit be refunded as soon as possible.
