I had a deeply disturbing encounter with racism at the Nine West branch of City mall. The employee's behavior was outrageously rude, and instead of helping us find the shoes we wanted, she brought us the wrong ones. When we politely asked for the correct size, she responded in an offensive and disrespectful manner, saying, "We don't have your size, no problem, this is my country." Appalled by her behavior, I asked to speak with the manager. To my disbelief, the employee started mocking us, imitating our words in a terrible manner. The manager, instead of addressing the issue seriously, laughed in our faces and said, "We don't discriminate; all customers are equal." Feeling humiliated and hurt, I shared the incident with the manager, but she brushed it off and told the employee not to worry, assuring her that she would handle it. The whole experience was shocking, and even contacting their headquarters proved unhelpful. This incident should not be tolerated.
