Horrible Nike MC Trainer 2 Sneakers
In December 2023, I purchased a pair of Nike MC Trainer 2 shoes and have been very disappointed both with the product and with the customer service experience. From early on, the shoes felt uncomfortably tight on the top of my foot, but I continued using them. Recently, a much more serious issue occurred when a nail came out of the back of the shoe and struck my ankle while I was wearing them. I contacted Nike customer service about this, but I was told that there is nothing they can do because the shoes are outside the 2‑year warranty period. I find this response unacceptable for a brand like Nike, especially when there is a safety-related defect such as a nail coming out of the shoe. I am requesting that Nike exchange these defective MC Trainer 2 shoes for a new pair. After this experience, I am seriously reconsidering buying Nike products in the future, and I expect this situation to be handled with more responsibility and care.
