I recently purchased the Neutrogena Acne-Fighting Face Wash, trusting the claim that it’s suitable for acne-prone skin types. I have exactly that—acne-prone and sensitive skin—and assumed this product would help. Instead, it caused tiny red bumps and breakouts to appear on my face almost immediately. I only used it 2–3 times, and my skin reacted terribly.
If the product is not suitable for sensitive skin, that should be stated clearly on the packaging. How can a brand as big as Neutrogena fail to include such an essential warning? It feels like deception—marketing a product for acne-prone skin without being transparent about how harsh it might be for sensitive users.
I’m less concerned about the ₺ I spent and more upset about how it’s compromised my skin barrier. Now my face is irritated, inflamed, and worse than before. I trusted this brand with my skin, and that trust has been broken.
Neutrogena, I’m asking for more than vague product suggestions—I want accountability. What will you do for customers whose skin has been harmed? I expect a clear response, a refund, and a commitment to better labeling and transparency. People deserve to make informed decisions, especially when it comes to their skin.
