NetShort Turned a One-Time Payment Into a Weekly Subscription

I made what I believed was a one-time payment on NetShort after following a link I saw on social media, entering my debit card information only so I could watch a specific show. However, after this payment, my card began being charged $24.99 every week without my knowledge or authorization.

I noticed that recurring $24.99 charges have been made regularly since around August 20, 2026. Since I never created a NetShort account or signed up with a username or email address, I cannot locate the subscription in the system and therefore cannot cancel it myself. I also cannot find any section on my account or the website where I can view or cancel the subscription.

For this reason, I request that the subscription associated with my information on NetShort and the automatic renewal charges to my card be canceled immediately, and that no further charges be made to my card under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a refund of the most recent $24.99 charge, if possible.

I expect this issue to be investigated promptly and for the inconvenience caused by these unauthorized recurring charges to be resolved.
