Netflix Ignored Long Term Members for the Anniversary Celebration
I have been a regular Netflix subscriber for approximately 8 years. Even when my payment is delayed by only a few days, I constantly receive emails and notifications from Netflix. However, despite being a long-term loyal customer, I received absolutely no information about the Netflix 10th Anniversary events held in İzmir on May 2–3. I only discovered the event completely by chance at the last minute, and by then I no longer had any opportunity to attend.
What makes this even more disappointing is seeing that many people with no subscription history or only very short-term memberships were informed about the event and able to participate, while I, as an 8-year subscriber, was never notified at all. I consider this a serious unfairness. For an event like this, I would have expected loyal and long-term members to be prioritized and informed first.
I request that Netflix provide a clear explanation regarding why I was not informed about this event despite my long-standing membership. I also expect some form of account-specific compensation for the disappointment and inconvenience I experienced. In addition, I would like loyal subscribers like myself to receive priority access or special invitations for similar Netflix events in the future.
