Mobile Legends Keeps Adding Bots in Roam Role During Ranked Games
I play Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on the Android platform under the username “spoiler.” Recently, I’ve been facing a serious system bug in the Grandmaster, Master, and Epic ranks. Even though the game is fully updated to the latest version, the matchmaking system assigns bots to the roaming (support) role in ranked matches without any explanation. This issue occurred again on October 20, 2025, at 02:34 a.m. during a match where I played as Atlas, with the battle ID 490470994787792087. In that match, the player named “crazymegahell” was clearly a bot. I’ve experienced this problem in 3 out of my last 5 games, and it happens at all hours—morning, afternoon, or night.
These bots don’t follow the marksman (ADC) on the same lane like normal roamers do. Instead, they move toward teamfight (TF) areas just to collect assist points. Since they are controlled by AI, their movements are completely illogical—they often move back and forth in the same spot repeatedly. As a result, the marksman doesn’t get tank support, the team balance collapses, and the match becomes unwinnable from the start. While the system artificially boosts assist stats to make them appear like real players, it’s obvious from their erratic movements that they’re bots. I’ve been playing this game since 2019, and this issue is no longer just a personal problem—it’s become a widespread bug that directly ruins the gameplay experience.
I’ve contacted the support team, but I haven’t received any response. My account doesn’t have any penalties or restrictions. I’m asking for this issue to be fixed immediately and for players’ frustration to be addressed properly. If this problem continues, I regret to say that I’ll have to stop playing the game along with many other players I know. Please take this issue seriously and provide a permanent fix as soon as possible.
