Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner Warranty Scam

Mitsubishi Electric, claiming to provide a 10-year warranty, is deceiving customers. Despite assuring me that the dealer I bought the air conditioner from had registered the warranty, they contacted the headquarters and declared it invalid because the application was submitted more than 30 days later. Even the dealer was unaware of this extended timeline. Why impose an additional application and a time limit for a warranty promised at the time of purchase? I've made numerous calls to customer service, but they show no concern. This raises concerns that if a genuine malfunction occurs, they may come up with more excuses and avoid fulfilling their commitment. It's disappointing to see Mitsubishi Electric behaving like a local grocery store, selling products under the false pretense of a 10-year warranty.
