Disappointing Miele KM7667 Induction Cooktop and Poor Customer Service

In August 2023, I decided to purchase the Miele KM7667 induction cooktop, attracted by its ability to cook evenly on the entire surface. Even though it was more expensive, I decided to go with this product because Miele has a reputation for making dependable, top-notch appliances. Unfortunately, the customer service provided by Miele Turkey has been extremely disappointing. They have been unresponsive and have left me in a difficult situation. The cooktop's 4/3 section has been burned for nearly three months, while the other 1/4 stubbornly refuses to cook! After months of persistent efforts, numerous calls to customer service, and seeking assistance from sales points in malls, the faulty cooktop was finally picked up for service in November 2023, leaving me with a substitute. After 40 days, they confidently declared that everything was perfectly fine, proudly showcasing a video of an egg apparently cooking on the stove. Nevertheless, the video provided clear evidence of the malfunctioning component. Despite my efforts to bring attention to this issue, their response has been inexplicably delayed for over a week, leaving me feeling completely uninformed. It has been 49 days since they took the appliance, denying me my rightful replacement during the installation process. The replacement they provided is noticeably smaller in size, which raises safety concerns due to the openings on both sides of the countertop. Could you even fathom such a scenario occurring in Europe or America? Unbelievable! Now, I have no choice but to give up all my obligations in order to pursue justice through consumer courts. Consider my experience as a lesson for everyone.

While purchasing the Miele KM7667 induction hob installed in August 2023, we chose this product, despite its higher cost, based on the knowledge that cooking can be done on its entire surface. Miele is a reputable brand known for producing reliable, quality appliances.

However, Miele Turkey's after-sales services do not align with the brand's reputation at all. It has become a company that does not return calls, ignores questions and expectations, and consistently delays addressing concerns. The bottom 4/3 of the stove is almost burnt, while the other 1/4 remains uncooked.

I tried to make my voice heard for about three months, calling the service center numerous times and explaining the problem to sales points in shopping malls, seeking assistance. Finally, in November 2023, they left a replacement device at my house and took the stove to the service center. Forty days have passed, and the technical service persistently responded to my calls, recording a video of the test they conducted in the workshops and sent it to me.

In the video, they put a pot on the stove, break an egg, and claim, "The egg is cooking; it is quite normal for this stove to work." However, the non-cooking part seems very obvious there too! The bottom of the other sides is browned and darkened, and one part is still raw. Even though I expressed this and said, "Look, it is very clear in the video, just like I explained," nine days have passed since I said they will get back to me.

When I called a while ago, the service manager informed me, "We are counting; I will call you later." Today marks exactly 49 days since the device was taken from my home. They took away my right to change, which is my legal right, during the device installation phase, by stalling the process and turning it into a chronic problem. The replacement device they left is physically smaller, creating an opening on both sides of the countertop, posing a security problem.

You can't do any of these in Europe or America; they won't let you do it! It's disheartening. Now, after exhausting all efforts, I will seek justice in consumer courts. I hope no one else will have to read these lines.
