Mexc and Binance Saga Coin Scam
On May 5th, I purchased Saga Coin on Mexc Exchange. Upon hearing news that it would be listed on Binance, and seeing many others investing in Saga Coin, I made my move. However, on May 8th, trading of Saga Coin was abruptly halted without prior notice.
In my complaint to customer support, I was assured that trading would resume in my account after the coin's name change. Originally listed on Mexc Exchange as Saga Coin, the same coin was introduced on Binance under the same name. However, the coin's name on Mexc was changed to Saga1, and the value of our investments plummeted.
In my view, Binance and Mexc exchanges deceived and manipulated us, the investors. I am deeply aggrieved by this situation and demand a refund of my invested funds.
Dear MEXC User, First of all, we wish you a happy morning. Thank you for contacting us. The SAGA token you purchased and the SAGA token trading at a price of 5-7 USDT are different tokens with the same name but different contract addresses. The contract address of the token you purchased is as follows: 0x41c0d7e97526eE09710edbd420856b9e66dfC1f5 In accordance with the following regulations, MEXC has renamed the AISagaCoin (SAGA) project to AISagaCoin (SAGA1). Deposits, withdrawals, and trading operations for SAGA were closed on April 8, 2024, at 09:00 (TSI). The SAGA tokens have been renamed as SAGA1 after the token abbreviation change was completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding and support!
You replied to me saying that a warning was issued. I am sure that thousands of people like me bought Saga coin before the warning was issued. You say you issued the warning on the 8th of the month. I, for my part, bought Saga coin on 05.04.2024 and suffered a loss. I do not accept your objection. I want a full refund of my money. As Binance and MEXC exchanges, you manipulated and defrauded people. I have no trust in you whatsoever.
I made these purchases under the name saga on the MEXC exchange. Later, saga was removed from trading. Then, it was reintroduced as saga1. As of today, April 11, 2024, the saga coin has been listed and made available for trading on the MEXC exchange. They made people believe it was the real saga coin, increased its value, then dropped it and called it saga1 coin. This is outright fraud.
