We Experienced Repeated Breakdowns and Stranded During the Metro Tourism Ride

On July 31, 2024, I had a very bad experience with Metro Turizm. My companions and I purchased five tickets for the Istanbul to Van excursion at 12:00 PM. Up until we arrived at Bolu, everything was OK. At 4:45 PM, the bus broke down, and we were informed that a replacement will be here in two hours. Three hours later, there was still no replacement bus for us. When the roadside help did arrive, they were unable to resolve the problem. When we got to Bolu's rest area about midnight, we were driven there slowly. Worse, we didn't even get a drink of water, and neither the driver nor the helper were present. Every time we phoned customer support, we were informed that a fresh bus would arrive in two hours. I've dealt with them three times already, and each time I have the same problems, it becomes evident that they don't value their clients. Their buses, especially on lengthy excursions, seem to be barely holding together. They are not someone I would suggest to anyone, and I may file a lawsuit. Choose a more dependable service to spare yourself the trouble.
