On November 9, 2025, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, my WhatsApp account was suddenly shut down while I was using my Xiaomi Mi 14t Pro. I was simply sending a normal, everyday message to a teacher friend when my account was instantly closed without any warning. I lost access immediately. My account had no paid plan, subscription, or balance. The banned number is: +90 **********87.
To find out what happened and recover my account, I contacted WhatsApp Support through their website. However, I only received an automated message saying, “Your account is being reviewed,” with no explanation about why I was banned or how long I would have to wait. I reinstalled the app, but nothing changed. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced something like this.
I expect WhatsApp to restore my account immediately and clearly explain the reason behind this decision. I have never bothered anyone, nor have I sent any inappropriate or harmful messages. Shutting down my account without any warning—whether arbitrarily or due to a system error—is unacceptable. I also request that necessary measures be taken to ensure this does not happen again and that users are not unfairly penalized. If there is truly any issue with my account, I want to be notified instantly at the moment it occurs.
Additionally, I believe the authorities in my country should take action against Meta for such arbitrary practices. Companies that disable users’ communication without warning should face consequences. No one’s access to communication should be cut off like this; this is not a place where such behavior should be tolerated.
