Maps.me Charged Me Without My Consent and Refuses to Refund It

Before heading abroad, I downloaded the Maps.me app on May 31, 2025, based on a friend’s recommendation. I chose it specifically for offline navigation and saw it listed as free. However, just two days later, on June 2, I was shocked to find that ₺1050 had been withdrawn from my Halkbank account—without my consent or any prior warning.
I immediately contacted Halkbank, filed a dispute, and had my cards blocked for safety. But the stress and inconvenience this has caused me is unacceptable. I did not agree to any subscription or payment plan. To make matters worse, the app tells me I can't cancel it until May 31, 2026, and that it will remain active until then. This is absolutely ridiculous—I won’t be using it again, and I should not be forced to pay for something I don’t want.
Even when you purchase a physical product, you have a 15-day return right. Why doesn’t Maps.me offer that? Had there been an obvious cancellation option, I wouldn’t be wasting my time and energy dealing with this now. I demand a full refund immediately and request that the subscription be canceled as soon as possible.
