MAC Cosmetics Refused to Exchange My Gift Products Still In Sealed Box


MAC gift products arrived, but I did not use them; I only wanted to exchange some items for a different color. Everything is still sealed in its original packaging, even in the gift box. I took the products to the store, but they refused to exchange them. When I called the company, they said there was no way to make an exchange. I told them there is no legal basis for this, and that such a policy cannot exist, especially for a chain and a global brand. I asked them to send me their legal terms if they insist otherwise. They claimed my complaint and request were received, but no one ever called me back. Because I mentioned I would file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board, they simply took down a sham request over the phone to stall for time. But I will file complaints everywhere. I will share what happened on all platforms, on my social media, and within my networks to expose how a company like MAC, where even the cheapest product costs ₺2,000, treats its customers. This brand seems focused only on making sales.
