LOT Polish Airlines Failed to Assist After Theft From Checked Baggage

I traveled with LOT Polish Airlines from Barcelona to Istanbul with a connection in Warsaw. When I opened my suitcase in Istanbul after checking it in at Barcelona, I discovered that my brand-new, never-used Tom Ford sunglasses and my Dolce & Gabbana perfume had been stolen from inside my luggage. By entrusting our belongings to the airline, we expect them to be handled responsibly, yet this experience has shown how poorly our property was protected. No assistance or support was provided by the airline in response to this incident.
