LinkedIn Identity Verification Stuck for a Year After Account Hack

My personal LinkedIn account has been restricted for about a year after someone illegally accessed it and changed my first name from William to Melissa without my consent. Since then, I have been unable to complete the verification process properly and I still do not have access to my account. I contacted LinkedIn support and was informed that the issue was being worked on, but despite the long time that has passed, nothing has been resolved and my account remains restricted. The unauthorized name change continues to prevent me from passing identity checks and using my profile. I kindly request that my account be reviewed urgently, that the incorrect first name “Melissa” be removed and corrected back to “William,” and that full access to my account be restored after my identity is verified. I want to be able to use my own profile again under my real name and without any restriction.
