LinkedIn Temporarily Restricted My Account Without Resolution
For the past three days, I have been unable to access my LinkedIn profile. Every time I try to sign in, I receive the following message: "Your account has been temporarily restricted. To protect you from potential unauthorized access or other activity that may violate our policies, we have taken proactive action. To help keep your account secure, we first need to verify your identity. Please submit a government-issued ID to regain access to your account."
I completed all of the requested identity verification and security steps, but I have not received any follow-up email, update, or further instructions from LinkedIn. As a result, I remain locked out of my account.
I use LinkedIn for professional purposes, so losing access has had a direct and negative impact on my work and career. I am concerned that my account may have been compromised, but I have been unable to find a direct customer support representative or an effective support channel. Because of this, I cannot receive assistance through the email address or phone number linked to my account, and I have no way to move the recovery process forward.
I request that LinkedIn urgently review the security status of my account, investigate and block any unauthorized access if detected, and restore my access once the identity verification process has been completed. I also request a clear written explanation of why my account was restricted and detailed information about the status of my case.
