LightInTheBox Dress Delivery Failure & Deceptive Advertising
On March 10th, I made a purchase for a dress from LightInTheBox to wear to my cousin's wedding on March 25th. I saw on their website that the delivery date was set for March 14th, so I assumed I had ample time before the wedding. Nevertheless, on March 13th, LightInTheBox reached out to me to express their regret for a slight delay in the shipment and offered their sincere apologies. I didn't worry too much because it seemed like there was still plenty of time for the dress to arrive. Regrettably, the dress did not arrive on March 14th. Furthermore, it was not delivered on March 15th, 16th, or 17th. Every single day, I made a call to LightInTheBox and they consistently reassured me that the delivery would be made the following day. The dress had not arrived by March 18th. Upon reaching out to LightInTheBox customer service once more, they notified me that the dress would not be available for delivery until at least March 29th, citing stock issues. I was very annoyed to hear this news. With just a week remaining until the wedding, I had to make the difficult decision to cancel the order. I reached out to LightInTheBox for a refund, and they informed me that it might take around two weeks to process. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service provided. I have decided to never shop from LightInTheBox again and I highly recommend others to do the same. This company is providing inaccurate information to customers and has poor customer service.
