LightInTheBox Clothing Return Complaint

I purchased a dress from LightInTheBox to wear for my wedding anniversary. I was thrilled to receive the dress after seeing how stunning it looked in the photos. Unfortunately, upon receiving the dress, I was quite disappointed to find that it did not match the dress depicted in the photos. The fabric had a low-quality feel to it, with a stiff texture, while the buttons were basic and made of plastic. It was evident that the photos had been edited to enhance the appearance of the dress. I attempted to return the dress, but it proved to be quite troublesome. At first, LightInTheBox was unwilling to process the return, but eventually, they agreed to provide a 50% refund. I finally received a full refund, although it was provided in the form of a gift card rather than being credited back to my original payment method. I have decided to never shop from LightInTheBox again. Their products do not live up to their claims, and their customer service leaves much to be desired.
