Lenovo Laptop 230-Watt Adapter (01FR046) Not Available
I contacted Lenovo to purchase a charger for my Lenovo laptop. They informed me that the 230-watt adapter with part number 01FR046 is no longer in production. I expressed my desire to purchase the product with part number GX20Z46307, which is also a 230-watt charger bundled with new Lenovo laptops (I obtained this number from the lenovo.com website). In the conversation you see in the attachment, the representative insists that they cannot sell me a product available on Lenovo.com. He claims that I bought my laptop five years ago, implying that my computer is already outdated. Essentially, they suggest I discard the laptop. Additionally, I want to note that if you use Lenovo's online support service slowly, you may find yourself in a situation where you are denied service. Their representatives may close the chat if you do not respond within about a minute, even if they keep you waiting for minutes. This happened to me 3-4 times this week. I will warn people that after the warranty period expires with Lenovo, they may not even be able to get paid services.
