I Received a La Roche-Posay Product with Mismatched Barcodes—I Need Help Verifying Authenticity

I recently purchased a La Roche-Posay skincare product and I am seriously questioning its authenticity. The barcode printed on the outer box comes up as authentic when I check it, which initially gave me confidence. However, when I opened the package, I noticed that the barcode and serial number on the actual product inside are completely different from the one on the box.
When I tried to verify the barcode on the inner product, I received a “no record found” result. This discrepancy between the outer packaging and the actual bottle is highly concerning, especially for a dermocosmetic product meant for sensitive skin.
I don’t want to use a product on my face without being 100% sure it’s genuine. The inconsistent barcode information makes me feel like I might have received a counterfeit item, and I don’t want to risk any adverse skin reactions.
