Brand-New 2024 Kumho Tire Tore After Driving Over a Small Curb

I bought 2024 Kumho tires and had them installed on the rear wheels of my car. Despite driving very slowly in first gear over a small 3 cm curb, one of the tires tore apart. My front tires, which are from a different brand and have been used for four years, have never had a single issue — but these brand-new Kumho tires tore between the treads almost immediately.

Are these tires meant to be used only on perfect asphalt roads? I even attached photos showing exactly where it happened, yet the company claimed the damage was “not covered by warranty.”

This was my first time trying Kumho, and it will absolutely be the last. I regret trusting this brand and its poor-quality tires.
