Koçtaş Does Not Take Responsibility for the Products It Sells

I bought a Karcher brand car washing machine from Koçtaş in Adana M1 shopping center on 13.06.2025. I gave it to my father as a gift on Father's Day. When he used it, he couldn't get the foam ejection apparatus to work. He gave me the product back to take it back. I went to Koçtaş on 30.06.2025. The lady from customer service said that we do not buy Karcher products, you take it to the service, if the service approves that the product is defective, then come with that document and we will change your product. So I went to the Karcher service. The staff working there opened and checked the product and said that not even air could go through the pipe. He wrote a report as a defective product and even said that if you had bought the product from us, we would have replaced it immediately. I went back to the Koçtaş store with the report. This time the lady who told me to come with the report and let's change it called another male staff member. That customer representative said that we cannot take this opened product. I said, “How can I understand that the product is broken without opening it and using it?” He said, "It is none of our business, we are sellers, if you buy the product and go home and plug it in, it is not my responsibility if it is broken, I am only a seller, I sell the product and the rest is none of my business.I said what do you mean, it is none of my business, I bought the product from you, I have the right to return it within 15 days, even if nothing happens. The staff tried to send me away by saying that yes, this is your legal right, but it is a legal right, go and seek your rights through legal means. Moreover, a lot of people like you who do not know their rights come here, we sell the product, you will only seek your rights by applying to the Consumer Arbitration Board. If they were not going to take the product, why did they send me to the service and write a report? They should have told me at the beginning that I should apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee. In the heat of Adana, I had to run from place to place with the child and the huge machine on my lap. Moreover, it did not reach any result and I was left with a defective machine.
