I Received a Damaged Table with Missing Parts - Got No Help from Koçtaş

When I opened the package to set up the table, I noticed a crack in the leg, took a photo, and contacted the relevant departments at Koçtaş with my request. My other complaint was about missing assembly parts (such as screws) that didn’t come with the shipment. I waited for a week for a response, but unfortunately, no one got back to me—positively or negatively. When it became clear they wouldn’t respond, I started calling every day. The customer representatives I reached gave me the same scripted, unhelpful answers. I got tired of calling daily, and they never tired of repeating themselves. This kind of unresolved service is completely unworthy of a corporate brand like Koçtaş. After all that effort (and who knows how long it would’ve taken if I hadn’t kept calling), the only response I finally got was, “You can return the product.” I replied, “Sure, I can return it—but only if I can buy the same product again at the same price I paid.” (I bought it for ₺8,999, and now it costs ₺12,649.) In short, this is no way to keep customers satisfied. I bought this table to use on the patio of my summer house, but at this rate, I won’t even be able to assemble it because the parts are still missing. I truly condemn Koçtaş for this. They have all these customer satisfaction slogans everywhere, but their actions don’t reflect the same values. It seems your idea of customer satisfaction is “How can we love the customer,” not “How can we help them.” If you continue like this, I’m sure your customer base will keep shrinking day by day. I still haven’t received a proper resolution, and I’m now considering taking legal action.
