Joie Stroller From E-Bebek Has Lower Weight Capacity Than Promised
I’m facing both product and service issues with E-Bebek and the Joie stroller I purchased yesterday between 8:00–8:30 p.m. I spent about an hour and a half in the store trying to choose the right stroller. My child was with me during the process; I even placed him in the stroller, lifted it, and specifically mentioned that he weighs 20 kg.
The salesperson assured me the stroller was suitable, but the next day I discovered that the stroller’s maximum weight capacity is only 15 kg. When I contacted the store to request a refund or exchange, they refused to help, saying the item was a display product and therefore non-returnable.
I find this completely unacceptable. Why didn’t anyone mention this restriction at the time of sale? A stroller that can’t safely carry my child is a direct safety hazard, yet the store simply told me, “There’s nothing we can do.”
I’m requesting a full refund or product exchange and for E-Bebek to take responsibility for misleading sales practices. Customers deserve accurate product information — especially when it concerns children’s safety.
