On 09.04.2025, we purchased a Joie Chrome baby stroller from the E-Bebek store. We did not use the product at all at first because our baby was very small and we were only recently about to start using it. However, when we lift the canopy part of the stroller, the stroller folds in half by itself. If the baby were inside, it would fold forward, so in the event of any impact, the stroller could immediately collapse in half, which creates a serious safety risk for our baby. When we first took the stroller to the store, they compared it one-to-one with the same product in the store and clearly stated that our stroller was faulty and that there was a problem with the mechanism. After this, the product was sent to service. However, the service returned the stroller claiming that there was no problem with it. When we took the product to the store for the second time, we were told that the stroller we had purchased was an old production, that the new versions did not have this problem, and that the product could not be exchanged because too much time had passed since the purchase. We cannot understand how a stroller we bought 7 months ago could be sold to us as an old production product. In our meeting with the E-Bebek store, we stated that we wanted to speak directly with Joie service, but we were told that the product was examined by E-Bebek’s own technicians and that the decision was made in this way. In this situation, the obvious safety risk posed by the product is not accepted, and different excuses are constantly being brought forward in order not to exchange it. We paid ₺13,000 for this stroller, and at the time it was especially recommended to us as the best and safest product, so we gave up another brand and chose this model. We are currently unable to use the stroller at all because it is risky, our needs and our trust expectations are absolutely not being met, and we are clearly aggrieved. In today’s conditions, we do not have the opportunity to pay another ₺12–13 thousand to buy a new stroller. I request that our Joie Chrome baby stroller be considered within the scope of a defective product due to the safety risk it carries and that it be exchanged accordingly.
