I Paid for a One-Time Jobseeker CV Upload but Was Charged for an Unauthorized Subscription

June 19 1:47 PM

I recently used an online “Jobseekers CV uploader” service and paid for what I clearly understood to be a one‑time usage. Despite this, on 5 June 2026 an amount of 30,000 RWF was deducted from my bank account as if there was an active subscription, which I did not knowingly agree to. After noticing this unexpected charge, I contacted the company to ask why 30,000 RWF had been taken and to request that they correct the situation. However, I have received no response or action from their side so far, which leaves the issue unresolved and my money still withheld. I request the immediate cancellation of any subscription or recurring payment linked to my account, a full refund of the 30,000 RWF that was deducted, and written confirmation that no further charges will be made without my explicit consent.
